PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds, popularly known as PUBG is the hottest craze for all the online game lovers. In this game, players have to scavenge, collect as many weapons as possible and emerge as the sole survivor.
The only sole survivor will get a reward “winner, winner, chicken dinner”. All the players thrive to get this reward because by winning this reward player gets more points that can be used to improve the armour, avatar and other elements.
Since you are a Beginner, we have summarized the general flow of the game here:
- You’ll spawn in the plane, and need to choose a place to land. In this situation, you need to avoid high-traffic areas and find a safe spot to loot some weapons and equipment for you.
- Then, when you’re all set, it’s the time to go where the white circle is. You’ll need to find safe points to loot, rest, and defend yourself along the way. The player count can gradually drop until you ideally reach the last 10 or 15 players.
- You are lucky (not lucky enough to get chicken dinner), in case you are among the last 10 or 15 players. At that point, survival becomes very tough.
There are so many little tips and tricks worth knowing for PUBG Beginners that can help them to survive and earn the “Chicken Dinner”.
Start with teams
Playing solo at the beginner’s stage is not a great idea if your ultimate goal is chicken dinner. When you play in a group, you have someone at your back to rescue you from a critical situation.
You need to practice group matches to understand the map, strategy and learn from other players before going solo.
Landing is crucial
In the case of landing, you have the choice to land at your favourite location. You will like to land somewhere, where you can find lots of loot and weapons which mean you, prefer large buildings. You must keep in mind that all the other players also have a similar thought process and land in the same places.
We suggest you, land in the remote locations, though the available loot is sparse. This approach will help you to find some decent items for you, and you can use the small infrastructure to cover yourself.
Landing in a place at a remote location with smaller clusters of the building is crucial for early survival because you can avoid the encounters with others and can have some time to find good weapons and gears.
Give attention to the circles
During the Play, you will encounter a white and blue circle. Blue circle and the white circle are the current and next play area respectively. Once you see the white circle, you must plan a strategy for arriving there safely.
After some time, the blue circle will start to shrink in on the white circle. Being outside the blue circle (white becomes blue when the initial blue closes) will get you killed automatically.
In addition to the Blue and white circles, you may encounter the Red Zones. These zones do not appear often, but you should be aware of this. In the case of the red zone, a red circle will appear on the map and bombs will begin to rain down randomly in the red area. Any player inside that zone can be blown to pieces.
Use the right weapon at the right time
While playing PUBG, You’ll love to pick up optical attachments for weapons and might be tempted to put scopes on every weapon you have. We suggest you to use it for specific guns. Sniper rifles are of course perfect for getting long-range kills.
Put 4x & 8x scopes on sniper rifles since they can shoot across great distances. For close-range encounters, assault rifles with red dot sights are better. And of course, shotguns are exceptional for close shots, when you are confident.
Pay attention to the noise around you
You can either turn up the volume on your mobile or wear a perfect pair of headphones so that you can understand the sound around you clearly. Players make noise whenever they run, drive vehicles, or shoot. Knowing where sounds come from will help you determine the location of others and thus keep you alive longer.
Close the door once you are in
When you go into a house and leave the front door open, it will become easy for the people around you to identify that someone is inside. If you don’t want to give your position to the enemies around you, always close doors after entering a building.
However, you can use another approach of not closing the door behind you and position yourself just behind the gate, so that you can kill the person who comes to investigate the open gate. For this, you must be fast enough to capitalize on your little trap. Otherwise, this can backfire.
Make use of the vehicle
Vehicles are great for covering a considerable distance quickly especially when the map is shrinking. If you locate one, you can mark its position on your map so you can find it when moving across zones.
However, we suggest you not to use the vehicle everywhere because it will become easier to spot you and can lead to your kill.
Don’t go straight
When someone shot you in an open area, do not go prone. This act will make you easier to kill. You can avoid running in a straight line and following the zigzag pattern until you find a decent cover.
Airdrops may be dangerous
The crates drop every couple of minutes. It is hard to tell the time and location of the airdrop, but the first airdrop usually starts around 2:45 for the very first blue zone, and it will always land within the first white circle, doesn’t matter where but it will 100% guaranteed to be within the first play area.
When it’s dropped, it emits red smoke for around 20 seconds. The airdrop contains very exclusive armours guns and scopes (which are usually not available as loot) such as Ghillie suits and Groza assault rifle.
In the case of an airdrop, you have two options, you can either try to snipe people trying to go for the sweet loot, or you can go for availing some better options for you. But if you’ve already got the top weapons, then it’s not worth risking a quick death.
If you want to go for the airdrop, follow these tips:
- Go with your team, so that you have someone to cover you.
- Go in a vehicle. You can park your vehicle in front of the side where the gunshots came from.
Understanding of Visuals is Important
PUBG Mobile gives you additional visual information, that can save you and keep you alert provided you understand the meaning of the visuals appear on the map. When a player is coming closer to you, the footprints will be shown with the direction of the players’ movement.
In the case of a vehicle coming close to you, you can see the steering on the map. If you’ve been shot, a hit-marker in the centre of your screen indicates the direction of the bullet.
Manage your inventory
You must keep your Inventory as light as possible and loot your enemies’ body as quickly as you can. You can manage what you need and throw what is not required once you get a cover later. If you are lucky enough to reach late in the game, drop all the unwanted items.
Next to the backpack, you can see a small white bar, which shows the amount of weight that affects you. To drop the items quickly, you must set a dedicated button for the split.
